        What Information is sent to Senior Leaders? 

        Senior leader update emails provide high-level insights and data to staff with the SLT role in your Staff Manager page, about homework and reading rates at their school. 

        We send two different emails:

        • A weekly e-mail
        • A termly email that is sent for the Autumn and Spring terms only

        Which staff receive these e-mails?

        Senior leader emails reflect on homework that was due last week (week ending Sunday) and all insights/data consider only on-time hand-in rates. These are sent at around midday (in your school's local time) every Monday. These e-mails provide the following information for each of Sparx Maths, Sparx Reader and Sparx Science:

        • The number and percentage of student completing their homework to 100%
        • The number of students who didn’t start the homework
        • If pupil premium data is provided through your wonde connection the % of those not started who are pupil premium
        • The weekly total for the hours of learning completed/books read this week
        • The yearly total for the hours of learning completed/books read 


        Also contained in the report is a link to the reporting page where more comprehensive reports can be downloaded.

        What do termly e-mails contain?

        The termly e-mail is sent twice yearly in April and January and contains a link to a high-level summary report for each of Sparx Maths, Sparx Reader and Sparx Science. 

        Each report is split into a number of sections:

        • Contextual information
        • Working time/ careful reading time graph
        • Completion and non-starter rates, including a breakdown of PP and Non-PP
        • A graph showing usage of the hand-in page

        What if pupil premium information is showing as not being provided?

        I haven’t received my termly report?

        If you didn’t receive your termly report please check that you have a role of SLT on Staff Manager and contact us through ‘Help and Support’ on your Sparx site to request a previous copy of your report.
