How to log in as a new student (without Single Sign On)

If your school is taking part in our Sparx Reader trial for the 2023/24 academic year, your students should be logging into Sparx Reader using Single Sign On (SSO). This means that they log in using their Google or Microsoft credentials. You can find more information about how students log in using SSO in this article: Getting students logged in

If a student doesn't have a Sparx Maths account or your school does not have SSO set up, they can log in using the steps below:

1.  Go to https://sparxreader.com/login
2.  Choose your school
   
3. Click Login with Sparx
   
4. Click New Student?
   
5. Enter their first name, last name and date of birth, then click Submit
   
6.  Remember the username that is shown then click Set a password.
   
7. Enter a password then click Confirm your details.
   
8. Enter their username and password then click Check your details.
   
9. If they've got their details right they'll now be able to successfully log in.
