Things you'll need to ask us to change for you

While most settings in Sparx Reader can be managed directly by your school, some changes need to be made by the Sparx team. This article outlines which changes you'll need to contact us about and how to request them.

Affected changes


School details

  • School name changes

  • Academic year start/end dates

  • Changes to your school group/trust affiliations

Technical settings

  • Removal from the schools leaderboard

  • If you work across multiple schools in a Trust and need access to more than one Sparx Reader site:

    • For a small number of schools, the Sparx Leader at each school can add you.

    • For larger Trusts, please get in touch with us and we can set up a MAT login that gives you access to all your schools in one place.


How to request changes

If you need to contact us to make one of these changes, please use the 'Help & Support' button at the top of your Sparx Reader site, and send us a message.

Important information

  • Some changes may take up to 24 hours to take effect

  • Some of the changes listed above will affect multiple Sparx products

  • Certain changes may require approval from your school's key contacts
