Why is the information on my student's homework different to the information on my Sparx site?

If in doubt, ask the student to refresh the page

If a student is showing you a screenshot of their homework that doesn't match what you're seeing on your Sparx site, it could be that they have edited the appearance of their homework using the Inspect Element tool available on most browsers. 

Right clicking and selecting  Inspect element will bring up an interface that allows the student to manipulate the visual styling of the page, including changing the colour of elements or editing text. 

If this is the case, a refresh will revert everything back to normal, so ask them to do this in front of you to see if anything changes. 

Don't worry - any changes that a student makes using inspect element will be purely cosmetic, and will not be saved. Your teacher view will contain the most up to date information.
