What can I see and do on the Reporting page?
Within the Reporting page, you will have access to three different downloadable reports that help to track how classes and students are getting on with Sparx Reader.
What do the different reports mean?
The three reports accessible within the Reports page are:
- Student Activity Report: This report gives a whole school overview of completion and student rewards data, with additional tabs for class, registration group and year group.
- Student Insights Report: Similar to what is shown on the Insights page, this report allows you to see a whole school overview for students current book and book reading age, speed and accuracy and if they are on Gold Reader.
- Sparx Reading Test Report: Following the administration of the Sparx Reading Test, this report will allow you to see each test that each student has completed as well as their reading ages that have been generated from each test. You will also be able to see all historical reading test results for students.
Both the activity report and reading test report, have optional demographic data that can be added, including FSM, EAL and pupil premium data.
All reports will be in a spreadsheet format which can be downloaded and filtered. Pictured below is an example of the Student Activity Report.
The activity report will show a "-" in cells where students were not set any homework in a given week, and will show "Optional" if the student is set to optional only for that week.
Filtering the reports
All reports can be filtered on a class and tutor group level. Have a look at the videos below to see how you can do this in your own reports.
