        Resetting a student's password

            Are you using Single Sign On (SSO)?
            If you are using SSO, your students will log in with their Microsoft or Google credentials. Please speak to your IT team regarding any SSO login issues. 

            If you do not have SSO enabled, students log in using their Sparx Maths username and password. If they have forgotten their password, you can reset it by following the steps below:

            Step 1: Trigger the password reset

            1. Go to More > Student Manager on the left-hand side
            2. Choose your class from the list
            3. Click Students
            4. Find the student in the list
            5. Click the edit button (the pencil icon as shown here)
            6. Click Reset password then confirm this on the modal that appears 

            Step 2: Instruct the student to set their new password

            The student will need to complete the following steps:

            1. Visit sparxreader.com/login
            2. Click Forgot login details?
            3. Fill in their name and date of birth
            4. Enter a new password and confirm
            5. Go back to sparxreader.com/login and use the new password
